The 6th Invitational BCC Cup 2009 Cricket Tournament was a success. As has been the tradition with our tournament, this event was organized for charity. This year, we are invited only 12 select teams to be a part of this tournament, which was 16 overs 11 a side with night games. We also introduced the split innings format where the teams alternated every 8 overs.

This year's champions are Waltham X1 who beat defending champs Galaxy X1 in a well fought exciting final. Waltham donated $500 to Billerica food pantry.

BCC donated $1500 to Billerica Food Pantry and $1000 to Chelmsford Athletic Department.

  • » Best Batsman - Bhavesh (Galaxy X1) for match winning knocks that got team into playoffs.
  • » Outstanding Performance - Mayur (Waltham X1) for 81 runs in 3 innings, including Man of the match in finals.
  • » BCC player of the Year - Anand with 29 wickets and 122 runs in the season so far.
